ALL SET FOR A LATE NIGHT UP AT HAMILTON.

We send two runners up to Scotland on Saturday evening, where the going at the time of writing is good, with intermittent showers expected.

Heresmax goes first at 8.20.pm, in a 0-60 handicap over a mile. This will be the horses first run, in handicap company, where he has been allotted an opening mark of 41, but will actually race from a mark of 45. Heresmax has contested hot novice company on three occasions to date, where he has finished well down the field each time, this will be his first real chance to get competitive. Rhona Pindar who was in the saddle last time retains the ride.

Our other runner is the four year old filly Walkonby who will carry top weight at 8.50.pm, in a 0-70 handicap over a mile, with Billy Garritty who has ridden her twice before taking the ride. Walkonby has now slipped to a mark of 64, which is 13lb below the rating she achieved when winning at Haydock in June of last year, when trained by Mick Channon. Since joining us Walkonby has raced on five occasions, with the penultimate start at Pontefract, when finishing fourth giving us the best hope she can get her head back in front, with any softening of the ground being a help.
