A RARE VISIT TO STRATFORD

We have one runner on Thursday when Amber Run makes the 482 miles round trip to Stratford to contest the 0-100 handicap chase at 3.07.pm, over the extended two miles and six furlongs, with Conor O'Farrell retaining the ride.

Before joining us Amber Run had contested a bumper and five hurdles races without remotely troubling the judge in Ireland, and in seven starts for us over fences he hasn't looked like a winner waiting to happen. He has run over a variety of distances between 20 furlongs to 27 furlongs, and has failed to see out his race on each occasion. The going which is currently good, good to firm in places, could help him to see out his race, as he has tumbled to an all time low mark of just 72.
