A MEMORABLE ACROSS THE CARDS TREBLE.

A MEMORABLE ACROSS THE CARDS TREBLE.

It was only 25 days ago at Sedgefield that we recorded a treble, and back at Sedgefield on Tuesday evening we had another two winners, with a further success up at Ayr, which adds up to a staggering 1394-1 accumulated odds!

NOT WHAT IT SEEMS 1/1 WINNER!!!!!!!

Not What It Seems was the first leg of the treble when backing up his improved effort at Sedgefield 25 days ago, when once again putting up a new personal best, this time under a 7lb penalty to win comfortably by nine and a half lengths. He may well try and win another novice hurdle under a double penalty before going novice chasing after a summer break.

PICKS LAD 40/1 WINNER!!!!!!!

15 minutes later at Ayr our new bumper recruit Picks Lad made a winning debut in what looks a slightly above bumper race for the time of year. Unusually for one of these events the field went a good pace with Picks Lad always front rank, and for this he can be marked up even further, as when looking beat a furlong out he bravely rallied to beat the Gordon Elliott trained Irish raider by half a length.

BALKOTIC 16/1 WINNER!!!!!!!

The 30 minutes treble was completed at 6.20.pm, at Sedegefield when Balkotic who was stepping up in trip made virtually all for a comfortable two and a half lengths success, from an all time low mark of 87. This was a fitting tribute to his owner Ray Parry who passed away recently, and would have been in his element celebrating in the winners enclosure. Congratulations to the connections, Ryder Sugden, Howard Pickersgill, and Raypasha.
