A DOUBLE ON BOXING DAY. SCHIEHALLION MUNRO 3/1 WINNER!!!!!!! ENFIN PHIL 3/1 WINNER!!!!!!!

Schiehallion Munro finally got his just deserts when coming good at Wetherby on Boxing Day afternoon in the Class 3 handicap chase from a mark of 138. Schiehallion Munro finished runner up on three occasions last season from similar marks, and was in the process of running another big race when uncharacteristically falling two out at Wetherby seven weeks ago. This three and a quarter lengths victory under an excellent from Conor O'Farrell was possibly a personal best, and he his entitled now to take a tilt at an even bigger prize.

Over at Sedgefield where they also staged their annual Boxing Day meeting, we were also in the winners enclosure with Enfin Phil, who made virtually all to win by two and three quarter lengths under Alain Cawley. Enfin Phil who was winning for the third time in his career signalled a return to form at Musselburgh 20 days ago when finishing a close up fourth, on his first run back over hurdles since winning at Uttoxeter in May.
