Training Environment

In this section, you can read about the Training Regime for horses at Micky Hammond Racing, about our Oakwood Stables base and also all about the Middleham training centre of which it forms part.

Oakwood Stables is based in Middleham, and can take advantage of the tremendous facilities for galloping and schooling horses which are based in and around Middleham Moor, high above the village.

Micky Hammond has trained in Middleham since he began his training career in 1990.
