Another one bought from Luca Cumani's stable in the sales at the end of 2006, having won a race and been placed in a couple of small handicaps over a mile. Had a pleasing, fast-finishing 3rd at Beverley in May 2007, and had a nice start over hurdles with four places in his first season. Second again twice at Wetherby in October and November, the latter one being in a hot handicap hurdle. Got his reward with good win in a decent class handicap at Wetherby in December 2008, and followed up in a novice there in March. Placed 3rd on the flat in June before winning an amateur riders h’cap at Hamilton in August. Finished a good 3rd at his beloved Wetherby back over hurdles in October, and a neck second there in December. Tries his heart out every time
