San Deng was a winner on the flat for Willie Muir. Micky bought him at the end of 2005 at the sales. He has run very creditably on the flat in 2006, being placed 4 times. He has made a nice start to his hurdling career with two third places from 2 runs, including in a hot £12k novice race at Musselburgh. He is handsome, jumps well and shows a determined attitude. He's been unlucky, but got off the mark over hurdles with a determined win at Wetherby in April 2009 over 2m6f
